Windows 11

A Sneak Preview…

We’ve received a number of queries, asking “should I upgrade to Windows 11”?

Our response has so far been: “No. Hold off for now”

There are a number of reasons we’re giving this advice. Not least of which are the reported bugs, which will take awhile to sort out. You also have to weight up what you will get out of it, and if your pc will even run it. So while upgrading is currently free there are some catches and many of the features planned for the new operating system have not yet been included.

Below is a basic list of “minimum requirements”. But take note that if your pc is more than 2-3 years old. It probably won’t work. If your pc doesn’t meet these minimum requirements and you go ahead and install it anyway. Be aware that you will void any manufacturer warranty and may not be able to download and install Windows Updates.
