Remote Support

It’s really quite simple. All you need to do is call us, and one of our friendly technicians will talk you through the process. 

But first we have to point out that by allowing us to use “remote support”. You are giving us access to your computer. So if you’re not comfortable with this, then we suggest using our “mobile service”. It’s efficient and you get to meet our technician face to face.

With a small piece of software running on your computer, our technicians can connect to your pc view your monitor and operate your mouse and keyboard. So it’s often easy for us to fix small problems within a very short time.

If we’ve serviced your computer in the past. Then you may have our icon on your desktop called “Masterlink Support”. All you need to do is double click on it, to see your “ID Number”. Then phone us and provide the technician with the number it’s given you. If you don’t have a “Masterlink Support” icon, then that’s ok. We can still get you connected by visiting this website.

One last thing to mention about security. Masterlink will never connect to your computer without your permission. While we’re connected you can see everything we do. We’ll explain what’s happening to you over the phone and you’re more than welcome to ask any questions.
